WCCE 12 & APCChE 2025
The EPOCH project participated in the 12th World Congress of Chemical Engineering (WCCE 12) and the 21st Asia-Pacific Confederation of Chemical Engineering Congress (APCChE 2025), held in Beijing, China, which brought together more than 5,000 participants from over 60 countries.
During the conference, Dr. Xiaoyan Ji and PhD student Zhida Zuo from Luleå University of Technology (LTU) delivered presentations on the development of screening tools for evaluating the properties of key electrolytes. From the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Dr. Johannes Lercher presented on the challenges in transitioning toward a sustainable chemical industry, while Dr. Ruixue Zhao discussed catalyst development for the hydrodeoxygenation of fatty acids to alkanes. Together, their contributions underscored EPOCH’s mission to pioneer innovative solutions for green hydrogen and sustainable chemical production.
